Yeah, I had that problem when I was a teen. I would peel the wrapping back super slow but it always made noise. I guess it is something you just get over. Believe it or not, most people aren't really listening to what other people are doing in their stalls. I would recommend preparing your pads if you are really concerned. Take the loud wrapping off and wrap it in plastic wrap (just one wrap so it isn't loud when you unwrap it). Or you could try to put it in a ziplock bag. Test it out in the bathroom at home to see how loud it is. I wouldn't use tampons if you are not comfortable with it. They aren't as loud, but you have to deal with inserting them. Whatever you decide to do, don't worry about what others think. Most people are more concerned about themselves in the bathroom than anyone else.
